Vendor sent wrong dessert with nuts and some other filling instead of raspberry filling. Paid $24 per lb and tried through Postmates to request a refund but was so irritated with the process (pictures that did load properly, so many incomplete chatbot chats and no resolution).
Very upset that vendor can get away with murder! A refund should be issued.

Driver sent a picture of the wrong address, then became suspicious by not responding to chat or phone calls. Then customer service told me that my order was delivered to the correct address after I showed the correct building and explained how the driver wasn't communicating to show where the order was left.
They stole $40 worth of food, and this is the first time I have ever used their service. Smh.

I had a horrible experience this morning and it's only partially fixed. I ordered bagels twice last night to be delivered this morning.
This was purposeful because I learned I would have more guests. One order (0A21A) was dropped upon arrival by the driver. I guess the bag broke and the driver informed me. I threw it away because I don't want to serve food that was on the ground.
That order was reimbursed. The second order (which was apparently delivered by the same driver?!) never arrived. I am still being charged for that. I should be reimbursed for $23.60 for 2 items (DEA5A); 3 items were refunded except for $4.55 (0A12A).
Neither were successfully delivered. Please look at the photos of my door taken by the driver. There is no order or bag at my door. Prove that I got it because I didn't.
The help function on the app would not refund me. Maybe it was confused because one was reimbursed?
But I am not going to stop until you credit me for both. It was a disaster and it has taken a lot of my time trying to get this set straight.

I have worked in the restaurant and customer service industry for over 15 years. When there is an issue and a customer has a bad experience, you fix it however you can.
You NEVER blame, belittle, and insult the customer nonetheless tell them they are lying! Overall it was disturbing, unprofessional, and outright unacceptable.
My name is Shane Daugherty and I went to place an order with Newks through Postmates. When I hit complete, it said the merchant was out of some items, so it prompted me to select the button to edit the order. I clicked that button, and the screen changed to show the items for half a second, immediately glitched, and all of a sudden the screen said order placed. I then was so confused, so I hit cancel order (I've worked in restaurants for years, so I know the system automatically accepts it and I didn't want a ticket printed out).
Long story short, it charged me the cancellation fee, so I contacted support. They refused to do anything other than offer a $5.00 credit. I was obviously upset and confused, so I had a supervisor call me back. He then proceeded to tell me (after reiterating there is nothing he can do for the app glitching) that no, in fact, I was actually lying and the app did not glitch. He also said they never advise to cancel the order as if this is common knowledge, but there is no other button or sign anywhere saying this in the app. Furiously, I hung up the phone.
I have no idea why a customer is being penalized a charge for a glitch in the service. This makes zero sense to me. Besides the fact a supervisor gaslit me on the phone over this, it is absolutely beyond me why a multi-billion dollar corporation would not return my $20. I don't use DoorDash. Only Postmates. I tell everyone to use it exclusively. I am so upset that a service had failed (like yeah, technological devices glitch every once in a while—it shouldn't be a big deal?) and the customer was blamed, gaslit, and charged.
I've worked in the restaurant and customer service industry for 15 years. I am unbelievably disappointed.

I would like to add that I was not feeling well and it would be difficult for me to leave my unit. I did, however, and was still left with nothing but harassment despite having a severe medical problems at the time.
This lady should not be on the app. The way I was treated was not warranted
I tried reaching out, and was initially told there was nothing I could do before elaborating on my side of the story. Since then, I’ve heard nothing from support for days on end.
My delivery woman called me because she could not find my building. Then, she proceeded to tell me off for 5 minutes, saying I should come out of my unit and that I was lying about my building number (I was not).
I told her off as well, telling her if she could read directions, she could find it.
She abruptly hung up on me. I assumed my food had been delivered, but it wasn't here.

This email serves as a formal demand for a full refund regarding my order placed last night totaling $91.31.
The service provided failed to meet reasonable consumer and food safety standards. The order took over two hours to be completed and delivered. Upon receipt, the food was cold to the touch, indicating it was not properly prepared, stored, or delivered in a timely manner. In addition, side items were delivered with unsealed lids, creating sanitation and food-handling concerns.
Due to these issues, the order did not meet the basic expectations of merchantability or quality for which payment was made. The food was not in a condition suitable for consumption, rendering the transaction effectively incomplete and unsatisfactory.
Given the excessive delay, improper packaging, and unacceptable food quality, I am requesting a full refund of the total amount paid. Documentation of the order and receipt are available and can be provided upon request.
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will pursue further action through appropriate consumer protection channels and dispute resolution methods.
I expect confirmation of the refund and resolution of this matter without further delay.

I contacted Postmates, but they would not help me. I literally threw $25.00, including the tip for the driver, away!

Correction: Refunded the one dinner that was free because of the buy one get one free promotion. Refunded within 15-20 minutes.
I bought a four-piece chicken dinner at El Pollo Loco, but it was a buy one, get one free. They charged me $17.09, but I was charged double: $36.18 with tax and delivery, totaling $41.07.
Check receipt 8589. I need to be reimbursed for one dinner.
I took a picture of the advertisement. I need the money back on my card today.
