How to get my refund.

I ordered from postmates last night I didn’t even get a postmates driver before I canceled my order. I canceled it because I was going to the restaurant to order so I wouldn’t have cold food. They took my money

This happened to me I did not get a refund. I guess they said they would not refund me because they already made the food or something like that and what made me mad is I called the restaurant and the restaurants is the one who told me to cancel the order.

Got two charges on my account that I did not order would like a refund one is for 50$ and another is for 75$

That is the postmates scam. When you order through a restaurant and click the postmates link it will only route the order to the restaurant so they make it and you get charged, but the order is never officially done through postmates. Then when nobody picks it up you ask for the refund which they push out their response to after the 48 hrs then tell you you are past the 48 hrs you should have done it sooner. I caught them last time and said no its only been 3 hrs. Scam #2 they try then is oh, well you must click on the order in your postmates app and request a refund. But that was the problem. It was never placed on postmates app. When I let the restaurant know he said that makes total sense because Postmates is the ones who sent up the link on their google page. Essentially they are charging people for food and never delivering. Then hiding behind scam's and excuses. We need to start a class action lawsuit

According to the Postmates Help section, you can cancel the order directly through the app at no charge to you. However, if the order has been placed and is being prepared, you'll pay for the items and a cancellation fee to cover the cost.
The visitors of quora.com post that there is no charge if you cancel before your Postmates courier arrives at the restaurant and if Postmates hasn't placed your order for you. You pay food costs and a cancellation fee if Postmates has placed the order and your courier is on the way to pick up the order.

How can I get my refund?Hello, This morning I used Postmate to order and deliver some food from "Wawa" around 6: 30am. And when I back to check the track, I just found that my order list was disappeared from the APP.

DO NOT! they are scamming people by uploading postmates link to the restaurant but the restaurant and customer doesnt realize is orders places through a restaurant website doesnt always upload to postmates app. The link they put on the rest. google page only sends the food order so its get made and the customer is charged. Then nobody delivers it and when the customer calls for the refund they say the only way to request is by clicking on the order, request refund on the app., but THATS THE POINT. it never shows on the app so u can never request the refund they way they want. They say they will send the issue over to tech but they run out the clock until its past 48hrs then respond and say oh well its past 48 now u should have done it sooner. I discovered this scam WITH a restaurant manager and he is removing them now. Postmates and uber eats is scamming your customers and those customers aernt going to come back.

  • log in to your Partner Dashboard at partner.postmates.com/login;
  • go to the Orders tab;
  • select the order you want to check;
  • the status should be listed in Delivery Info.

According to Postmates Support, to change menu price, you should follow the steps below:
  • Tap Menu from the side navigation in the Postmates order app;
  • Tap on any category;
  • Tap any item;
  • Tap Change Menu Price.

According to Business Insider, you may get a refund on Postmates for incorrect or missing items following the steps below:
Android:
  • Open up your Postmates app on your Android and navigate to "Settings" and tap "Deliveries";
  • Tap "Contact Support";
  • Select which order you'd like to be refunded for;
  • Select the reason;
  • The next screen will ask you to select which issue you had, out of 3 options. You can also type in your issue by tapping "Something Else."

Windows:
  • Sign into your Postmates account on a web browser;
  • Click on your avatar icon in the top right of the screen;
  • Click "Deliveries" and select which order you'd like to be refunded for;
  • Select "Contact Support" and a customer service representative will be in touch with you shortly.

Note that any problems must be reported to Postmates within 48 hours for refund eligibility.

According to Postmates FAQs in order to close your Postmates account you should submit a ticket at support.postmates.com/buyer/contact-us/help. Follow on screen instructions and Postmates support will assist you with deleting your account.
