I have used Postmates several times in the past and never experienced a problem... until last night.

I placed an order from Chipotle and it was supposed to be delivered in 30-40 minutes. I went to put my daughter to bed, and my husband was on food delivery duty. We received the customary "Your food will arrive shortly" text, but no one rang our bell. My husband waited and waited, and then we received the second text saying that our delivery person was waiting on us, but there was no one outside!

We have the video surveillance footage to prove it. We waited over an hour and still no food arrived. Once my daughter was asleep, I emailed Postmates. (It's interesting to me that they only do customer service by email, not by phone...

hmmmm) I emailed them and explained the situation, and I received an email promptly back, stating that it was my fault that I never got the food and that I would still be charged for the food and the delivery??? I emailed them again explaining that I should not be charged since no one was there, and that it was clearly a mistake had occurred on their end. At 12:06 am this morning, I received an email stating that my delivery had just been completed??? What???

And since then, I have emailed two other customer service representatives. Each time, I receive the same non-sensical reply. It is clearly a form letter, and they are just copying and pasting it. This has to be some of the worst customer service I have ever received, and they are insistent that they charge me "for the delivery person's time and labor." Seriously?!?!?

There is literally video footage showing that no one ever did their job!

Steer clear of this company. They have demonstrated a complete unwillingness to be helpful or to take appropriate responsibility.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $13.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

No surprise here. Postmates drivers probably ate my food twice, no attempt to deliver and the company fought me for DOUBLE my money even though I never got my food.

I can tell you all about it.

The only delivery service I won’t use. A fraud
