I got charged for a food delivery that I never received. I tried to contact them i they told me that: Thank you for following up about the charges on your El Churrascaso Grill order.
I understand the weight and urgency of the situation. Let me go ahead and address this issue.
As I've looked into the system, I can see here that the total charge for this order is $25.14. We are very sorry but at this time, we are unable to issue any credits or refund for this order. Since this order was cancelled while being prepared, we are still committed to paying the merchant as well as the Postmate.
We apologize again for any inconvenience this has caused.

So basically if you order something, never change your mind because you will be charged for the full amount and also someone will keep your food. My customer service experience was so bad.
Also there are not customer service support phone, they handle everything through emails.
The good news is that you always can contact you bank and as customer with rights you can fill a dispute. I hope that this information help you to answer regarding this kind of issues
User's recommendation: Never cancel an order or you will lost the money payed and also thr food.
